[Exchange Server 2003] Information Store 서비스가 시작되지않음

Exchange Server 2003 환경에서 다음과 같은 이벤트 로그와 함께 Information Store 서비스가 시작되지않을 수가 있습니다.

Description: Error 0x3ee starting the Microsoft Exchange Information Store. Failed to init VSERVER

■ 원인

메일서버상에서 안티바이러스 소프트웨어를 삭제 또는 정지했으나, Microsoft VSAPI(Virus Scanning API)의 레지스트리 값이 존재/가동중으로 업데이트되었기 때문이라고 합니다.

■ 해결방법

McAfee의 KB66391 처럼 Microsoft VSAPI(Virus Scanning API)의 레지스트리 값을 "0"으로 수정후,  Information Store 서비스를 시작하면 됩니다.
