[Microsoft] Windows Server 2008 R2 could not upgrade edition

Windows Server 2008 R2은 dism 명령어를 이용하면 온라인상에서 에디션의 변경이 가능합니다. 예를들면 Standard에서 Enterprise나 DataCenter로 말이죠.

이 방법은 과거의 포스팅에서 소개를 했습니다만, dism을 실행을 했을 경우, 다음과 같은 에러가 발생할 경우가 있습니다.

Error: 1605

The specified product key is not valid for the target edition.

Run this command again with a product key specific to the target edition.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

■원인

음... 잘 모르겠습니다. 흐흐 MSDN에서 발행받은 키를 이용했음에도 불구하고 잘못된 키라뇨... TT

■해결방법

아래의 KMS 클라이언트용으로 공개된 키를 이용, 에디션의 변경을 실행합니다. 변경후, 정상적인 키를 재입력하여 활성화해주면 됩니다.
