[Microsoft] SCDPM 2012 VM Backup error 12292, 13

Data Protection Manager을 이용하여 Hyper-V상의 가상머신 백업을 실행할 경우, 다음과 같은 에러가 발생, 백업이 실패할 경우가 있습니다. 

Failure occurred while adding one or more of the volumes involved in backup operation to snapshot set. Please check the event log on Hyper-V호스트명.lab to troubleshoot the issue. (ID 30290 Details: Internal error code: 0x809909E2)

또한 아래의 에러가 발생했을 경우, Hyper-V호스트서버의 이벤트로그에 다음과 같은 로그가 기록됩니다.

■ 원인

DPM이 가상머신의 백업시 이용하는 하드웨어 VSS writer가 정상적인 이용이 불가능하기 때문이라도 합니다.

■ 해결방법

가상머신 백업시, 하드웨어 VSS writer가 아닌 소프트웨어 VSS writer를 이용하도록 Hyper-V호스트서버의 레지스트리를 추가해줍니다. 아래의 레지스트리를 전개, 새롭게 "UseSystemSoftwareProvider"란 키를 작성합니다.
