[VMware] vCenter 5.1 Update1 적용후 로그인이 않됨

4월말 릴리스된 vSphere 5.1 Update 1 중 vCenter를 5.1 Update1로 업그레이드후, vSphere Client나 vSphere Web Client로의 로그인이 않될 수 있다는 경고가 공개되었습니다.

원인으로는 SSO Identity 소스로 설정되어있는 vCenter 로그인 계정이 복수 도메인에 걸쳐 19 이상의 도메인 그룹에 소속되어있기 때문이라고 합니다. 

This issue can occur if the specified vCenter Server login domain user account is associated with a large number of domain groups and multiple domains are configured as SSO identity sources. The precise number of groups at which this issue can occur varies due to the nature of Active Directory internals. However, it is more likely to occur once domain-group membership for an account exceeds 19.

위와같은 계정을 이용하고 있을 경우, 수정 패치가 공개되기 전까지는 Update1로 업그레이드하지 말라고 하는군요.

이미 업그레이드를 한 경우는, vSphere Client의 "Windows 세션 자격 증명 사용(W)"을 이용해서 vCenter에 로그인하면 된다고 합니다. 아니면 계정이 소속한 그룹 수를 줄이라고 하는군요. 흐흐
