[VMware] vSphere Data Protection E10055:failed to attach disk

VDP 환경에서 Windows Server 2008 R2의 백업을 실행할 경우, 다음과 같은 에러와 함께 백업이 실패합니다.

"Execution error: E10055:Failed to attach disk."

■ 원인

백업실행시, Windows VSS 프로바이더(하드웨어)가 "disk.EnableUUID"을 읽어들이지 못하기 때문이라고 합니다.

Backing up a Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012 virtual machine using vSphere Data Protection 5.1 fails with the error: Execution Error: E10055:Failed to attach disk (2035736)

■ 해결방법

가상머신의 [VM옵션]의 "disk.EnableUUID" 파라메터 값을 [true]에서 [false]로 변경해줍니다.
